Anyone ever use Bug Guy's pest control in Pflugerville, TX? Recommend it? why or why not?

Thinking about using them - the bugs are getting bad - but their website looks like a grade-schooler made it. Will it be professional?Anyone ever use Bug Guy's pest control in Pflugerville, TX? Recommend it? why or why not?
Hi, I have had a ton of experience with these guys in the past. Not wanting to disclose too much information (you never know what someone like this might do) I can only say that this company uses shady business practices, manipulations, high pressure, and less-than-truths to get customers to join.

Better check the fineprint before you go signing your life away, bucko. And realize that this is a binding YEAR-LONG contract no matter what. Sure, they'll tell you, ';Its just $75 bucks, and then just $75 every other month.'; But what they don't tell you is that you are committing yourself to a $525 contract.

I know I have better things to do with $75 than get PEST CONTROL anyway - like buy a couple of gallons of gas so I can get to the store and buy milk bread and eggs.

In a nutshell, I have one word of advice:

RUN!

If a Bug Guys Pest Control Guy comes up to you, watch his nonverbal communication. He's highly trained to scan you for cues to become more aggressive in his approach.

He may ask where you are seeing ants come in. When you reply, ';Thru the back door,'; he'll likely say, Oh, let me check it out and place his hand on the door and try to move inside, knowing that his chances of conversion raises by 67% if he can establish a relationship with you to the point of entering the home.

What would be great is if you said, ';Why would you want to see my door? It's just a door like any other. Are you some sort of ant entryway expert? Are you even certified? I thought you were the college dropout they conned to come out here for the summer from some distant state.'; Try that - guaranteed to really throw them off course. You see, they arent trained to think - only to react to a set of pre-learned cues.

Another line they may use is, ';Yeah, we're going to be out here tomorrow getting all of your neighbors done. We can get you done too if you can get it done then.';

Your response: ';Wow. That's cool. Who exactly is ';getting done?';

(stunned silence, fight or flight decision being hammered out in young salesman's mind. finally...)

';Well, um...there's the...no, they just called and canceled. We'll probably get your neighbors the Martinez' done tomorrow, just have to get them to sign first. ';

';I dont know any Martinez' - who are they?';

';They're your neighbors down on Cedar Way.';

';Isn't that like 2 miles from here?';

';Um. Yeah.';

So you see, I could go on and on - and if you want to hear more just let me know and i'll post more.

But, in a nutshell, you would be wise to stay far away from a company such as this. Better to just throw down your own ant and spider poison anyway - there's no contract that way!!!
