Sims 2 PC/ the bugs/roaches are out of control?

calling the exterminator does nothing. the next day they are back! my sims are ALWAYS sick with the FLU, and i still have piles of trash that the sims aren't able to pick up which causes the bugs to keep coming back. what can i do?Sims 2 PC/ the bugs/roaches are out of control?
ctrl shift c (hold them down together) opens the cheat window at the top of the screen.





type in





moveobjects on





Pick up the trash and delete it.





open the cheat window again and type in





moveobjects off

Well, I've never had that happen to me personally, I always try to have a maid or butler to keep the houses clean but, if your sims can't pick up the trash and are too sick to kill the stupid vermin, try using the ';moveobjects on'; cheat and pick up the things yourself in build/buy mode and delete it, try the exterminator one more time and hire a maid for a day or two to clean up your house then fire the maid when they're done and your house should be clean and vermin free.
Maybe try hiring a maid to clean up the garbage? You can always fire the maid afterwards. That's what I used to do.





Edit: Does it do it in every lot? If it does there may be something wrong with your game. If it's just the one lot, try moving your family out and back in again... I know it's a pain.
They come back because of the trash. Hire the maid, she'll clean it up or influence a friend of your sims to clean if you don't want to waste money. Keep calling the exterminator so they'll go away. Or, use moveobjects on and delete them or boolprop or whatever.
You need to pick up the trash and the bugs won't come back. Make sure your house is clean. Hire a cleaning lady and then hire the exterminator.
why don't you just hire exterminator via phone??
when we were poor, in our old days my mom had tons of them and she bought this chinese roach chalk for like a dollar that got rid of every single one, they never came back
