How do grocery stores control bugs and rodents?

The same way fast food restaurant keep bugs and rodents out. They use traps, sprays, and electric devices that draw bugs in and trap them in a container. Of course the devices are cleaned and sprays are used after the stores close. With rodents and bugs, they constantly clean the store and make sure the food is secure and nothing is exposed. They are also inspected at least once a month. How do grocery stores control bugs and rodents?
They hire out services of Professional Pest Control Companies. In many areas they are required to do so by the state regulatory agency. Usually, if food is prepared in that facility, they are not allowed to perform certain methods themselves. However, the methods usually include, traps or rodent bait stations placed strategically around the interior or exterior of the facility for rodents, regular application of residual pesticides in certain areas for prevention of select insects, and usually some type of fly traps. Some do very little and some actually do take this seriously and do quite a bit.How do grocery stores control bugs and rodents?
wrong! places that sell food aren't allowed to use traps or containers like that bug thing indoors, they can't use fly tape or anything. its a violation. most stores use a few methods, one, they pay an exterminator(they are not allowed to do it themselves) to come in and spray either after hours or late in the night or very very early in the morning when there are little to no customers in the cases of places that are open 24/7, about once or twice a week. two, they keep every thing very clean. three, and I have only seen this in a few places even though its very effective, they hang little ziplock bags full of water from the ceiling through out the store or kitchen and that keeps flies away. I don't know why that works but it does.
Traps, poisons and sanitary measures.
